THE FORMAT / IN MOTION

An outer cover. A considered interior.

A book-style box opens along a spine-like hinge, giving the cover and interior distinct roles in the presentation. Use the outside to introduce the product and the inside to reveal it. The cover, hinge and internal tray are developed together around the contents.

FAQ

Before you begin.

How is this different from a lid and base box?

A book-style box has an attached cover that opens along a hinge. A lid and base box has two separate pieces. Choose according to the presentation and access you need.

Does a book-style box always use magnets?

No. The book-like opening defines the structure. Magnetic and ribbon closures can be reviewed according to the design and contents.

Can artwork run across the spine?

Yes. Confirm the cover and spine dimensions before final artwork, and allow for the hinge areas in the production layout.
